Polish President Happy About Talks With Russian Counterpart

Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski is happy about his talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow. He said the Kremlin meeting had gone off "in a very good and warm atmosphere". Speaking to Program 3 of the Polish Radio, Kwasniewski disclosed that the meeting's agenda had featured, among other things, the developments in and around Afghanistan. He stressed President Putin is very well informed about the situation in the region. The Polish head of state said the Kremlin had reassured him that Russia sided firmly with the United States in America's new war on terror.
