Ex-president Of USSR Mikhail Gorbachev: Vladimir Putin Has Taken "responsible Stand" In International Struggle Against Terrorism

President of Russia Vladimir Putin has taken a "responsible stand" in the question of international interaction in combating terrorism. Ex-president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev stated this on Tuesday (Moscow time) in his live talk with well-known TV anchorman Larry King of the C.N.N. TV company. As Gorbachev said, Vladimir Putin "demonstrated his position during the contacts with FRG Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Prime-Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair and US president George Bush, having stressed "solidarity and considerable responsibility" of Russia with regard to pooling the world community's efforts in the joint effort against terrorism. It is necessary to support in every way and preserve the international coalition for combating the threat of terrorism, formed with the participation of the leading world states, including Russia, the ex-president of the USSR noted.
