Leaders Of Two Israeli Right Parties Withdraw From Sharon Government

The leaders of two Israeli Right parties National Union and Yisra'el Beiteinu, which act as a single faction in the Knesset, have passed a decision to withdraw from Ariel Sharon's national unity government. These parties' leaders Rahavam Zeevi and Avigdor Lieberman told this a press conference on Monday. In their words, the reason for such a decision was the Israeli government's policy in the sphere of security and the actions of foreign minister Shimon Peres, who continues meetings with Yasser Arafat and other representatives of the Palestinian leadership, which are "harmful for Israel".
