Russia Does Not Plan To Hold Talks On Rescheduling Its Debts

Russia is not planning to hold talks with the Paris Club of creditor nations on rescheduling the state debt inherited from the former USSR, Russia's Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Kolotukhin said speaking at an international conference in London late on Thursday night. According to him, the government of Russia intends to fulfil its debt obligations to this Club as scheduled. As of January 1, 2002, Russia's debt to the Paris Club will amount to 44.8 billion dollars.
