Ukraine Ready To Render Every Assistance To Uzbekistan

Ukraine is ready to render every assistance and support to Uzbekistan if needed, Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma told his Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov by telephone on Monday evening. The two presidents exchanged opinions on the developments in the region in connection with the military action in Afghanistan, and on other issues of common interest, the Uzbek president's staff said Tuesday.
