Over 100 May Have Died In Md-87 Plane Crash In Milan

The number of those killed in a crash of a Scandinavian Airlines plane in Milan's Linate airport may be over 100, said representatives of special services in charge of the rescue operation. A small sports plane caused the accident. A SAS MD-87 airliner tried to avoid crashing into it on the runway. After the crash and explosion inside the plane, it caught fire. Representatives of special services investigating the accident have ruled out a possibility that a terrorist act was involved. 56 foreigners and 48 Italians were on board the plane.
