An envoy of Cote d'Ivoire President Laurent Gbagbo, C. Ogier, has brought the president's message for Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Department, on Monday Ogier was received by Russia's Secretary of State and Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Sredin. During their conversation, they discussed the state and prospects of relations between the two countries and some topical international issues. The parties expressed their mutual wish to promote in every way the strengthening of friendly ties between Russia and Cote d'Ivoire and deepen their cooperation in various fields, including interaction in the United Nations and other international organizations.
