OIC Countries To Adopt A Joint Statement On Events In Afghanistan October 9

The Arab countries will not issue separate statements in connection with the events around Afghanistan, but will adopt a joint statement at a conference of foreign ministers on October 9th in Doha, Qatar, said a well-informed source in the UAE. An extraordinary conference of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Conference member-states will open in Doha on October 10. Qatar is the current chairman of OIC which groups 55 states.
