No Response From Eu, Nato Top As Anti-terror Action Starts In Afghanistan

The European Union and NATO have not yet responded to the USA opening anti-terror action in Afghanistan. Major NATO officers avoid explicit replies as telephone calls are showering the headquarters, and only point out that it is an American not NATO operation. Guy Verhofstadt, Belgium's Prime Minister and acting EU Council president, is in permanent telephone contact with other European Union countries' heads of state and government to coordinate a tentative official EU response, says the Belgian television.
