The British Foreign Office does not confirm the fact of release of Yvonne Ridley, reporter for Sunday Express in Afghanistan, official spokesman for the British Foreign Office told RIA Novosti Sunday. According to him, the British Embassy in Islamabad still has no information confirming the media announcement of the British reporter being allegedly already released. "Our ambassador to Pakistan is taking energetic efforts on re-checking this information through the Taliban mission in Islamabad," the spokesman for the British Foreign Office said.
