Russian Citizens To Arrive In Moscow From Pakistan On Saturday

The Russian citizens who agreed to be evacuated from Pakistan will arrive in Moscow by two aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Yury Vorobyov, spokesman for the ministry, said also that its aircraft had already delivered to the region 175 tents for 2,500 people, 2,300 blankets, over 65 tons of food, 2,000 sets of warm clothes as humanitarian aid for the Afghani refugees located on the Northern Alliance-controlled territories. The Tajik Ministry of Emergencies is in charge of the cargo delivery to the territory of Afghanistan. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, about 100,000 refugees have fled to the Northern Alliance-controlled territory, including 10,000 to the isles of the Pyandzh border river. The Russian government has allocated over 100 million rubles (US$ costs 29.5 rubles) and $400,000 as aid for the Islamic State of Afghanistan.
