Taleban Do Not Admit Foreign Journalists, Northern Alliance Welcomes Them

The Taleban are resolutely banning foreign journalists from entering the country while the Northern Alliance welcomes the newsmen. According to RIA Novosti, up to 150 foreign journalists and reporters have penetrated in the Jabal-us-Siraj in the Kapisa province by jeeps along mountain roads. Another group of reporters has recently arrived aboard a special aircraft from Dushanbe to Faisabad, capital of Badakhshan, where the Afghan government is residing. Newsmen are waiting for US strikes at Afghanistan so as to be the first ones to report the details to readers and TV viewers.
