Vice-premier Of Russian Government Alexei Kudrin Arrives In USA

Vice-Premier and Minister of Finance of Russia Alexei Kudrin has arrived in the USA. He will take part in a meeting of the Finance Ministers and the heads of the Central Banks of the G-8 countries due in Washington on October 6, the press secretary to the Russian Embassy to Washington said. The meeting will be dominated by an exchange of information on the problem of countering the financing of international terrorism and by the working out of proposals on joint actions in this direction. Kudrin plans to participate on Friday in a meeting of the Russian-US Business Council, as well as to hold meetings with US Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and Secretary of the Treasury Paul O'Neill.
