Russian President Sends Greetings To First Russian Azeris' Congress

Russian President sent Thursday greetings to the First All-Russian Azeris' Congress, the Russian President's press service told RIA Novosti. The greeting address reads that the task of the forum, which has brought together representatives of the whole Russia's Azeri communities, is to define the issues of the diaspora's further development and basic directions of the Congress's activities which include fostering and expansion of Russian-Azerbaijan ties. "Peoples of various nationalities confessing different religions have lived in Russia side by side for centuries." "The good traditions of respect and tolerance are our treasure which we are to preserve," also reads the President's address.
