Putin, Schroeder Hold Telephone Conversation

Vladimir Putin shared his opinion of the Russia-European Union summit with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder in a Wednesday evening telephone conversation, told RIA Novosti Putin's press secretary Alexei Gromov. According to him, the president described the summit as "resultful." Putin conducted the conversation on board a Moscow-bound plane while returning from his trip to Brussels. The sides also discussed issues related to European security and the world situation in general.
