Clashes Between Northern Alliance And Taliban Units Registered In Afghanistan

Russian border guards have registered clashes between the Northern Alliance's troops and units of the Taliban radical Muslim movement on Afghan territory. Military actions were conducted on Tuesday evening in the vicinity of the joint of the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border sectors three kilometres away from the Tajik border. The clashes lasted several hours.
