Members Of Extremist Religious Party Arrested In Tajikistan

Tajik law-enforcement bodies have arrested two members of the Hez-ul-Tahrir-al-islami extremist religious party. According to a source in the Tajik Security Ministry, the members of the aforementioned religious party, which is banned in Tajikistan, were arrested in Dushanbe three days ago. The detainees had many rebellious leaflets and booklets on them, the source added. Officials of the Tajik Security Ministry does not exclude that the Hez-ul-Tahrir-al-islami party maintains connections with international terrorists.
