Taliban Ambassador In Pakistan: Taliban May Extradite Bin Laden

The Taliban movement can extradite Osama bin Laden if the USA gives convincing evidence of his responsibility for the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, Taliban Ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Salam Zaeef said at a press conference in the Pakistani town of Quetta. In this case bin Laden can be extradited to some third country, the Ambassador said giving no details of this country. "Allah only can change the regime and replace us by somebody else," Abdul Salam Zaeef claimed commenting upon the statement of British Prime Minister Tony Blair who said in Brighton Tuesday that the Taliban could be thrown down for concealing the terrorists. After Blair's statement US President George Bush told journalists in Washington on Tuesday evening that the words of the British Prime Minister were the echo of his own address to the US Congress. The Taliban should extradite bin Laden without any conditions for there will be no negotiations, the US President stressed.
