Russian Prime-minister Mikhail Kasyanov Had A Meeting With President Of Inteza, One Of The Largest Italian Banks

According to Tatyana Razbash, press secretary of the Russian premier, on Tuesday in Moscow prime-minister Mikhail Kasyanov met with Giovanni Bacioli, president of Inteza, one of the largest Italian banks. This bank services 52 percent of the total trade turnover between Russia and Italy which by the results of the last year amounted to USD 9 billion. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed plans to open an affiliate Italian bank structure in Russia to provide comprehensive banking services, including provision of services to private individuals. The parties also noted bank's efforts to develop cooperation in the area of cultural relations. In particular, on Monday night at the Bolshoi theatre scene "La Scala" ballet will perform "Requiem" by Giuzeppe Verdi. This project was financed by the Inteza bank. According to Razbash, in general the Italian bank is financing implementation of a number of projects in the Russian Federation for the amount of over USD 2 billion.
