Results Of Moscow International Festival "Man And Woman: Love, Partnership, Family" Have Been Summed Up

The Tuesday roundtable in the Russian Information Agency Novosti was devoted to the results of the second international festival "A Man and a Woman: Love, Partnership, Family". The festival was held in Moscow on October 17-21 with the support of the Moscow government and the Russian State Duma /lower house of parliament/ health protection and sports committee. The International Academy of Psychology, the Austrian Association of Sexologists, the Institute of Family and Marriage Psychology, the Union "Ecology and Health" are the roundtable organizers. The participants in the festival - psychologists, sociologists, sexologists, representatives of traditional and non-traditional medicine concluded that "Russia does not have science comprehensively investigating problems of the two sexes' relationship." This topic was prohibited for a long time. The level of sexual culture turned out to be very low against the background of universal emancipation. All attempts to introduce the programme of sexual upbringing to schools were a failure. "One may think the aim of the festival is to change something in the matrimonial bedroom. But this is wrong. We just tried to change something in the brains," noted one of the forum organizers.
