Afghanistan's Embassy In Moscow: A Format For Future Cabinet Remains Undebated

The question of fixing a format for the future Afghan government is not raised now, Press Attache Ghairat Sakhi of the Embassy of Afghanistan to Russia told RIA Novosti on Wednesday. He said that the present leadership of the Islamic State of Afghanistan has determined concrete persons, who are actively conducting a series of negotiations to work out general approaches and principles for the future post-Taliban political system of that country. The range of obligatory official Afghan representatives, now having the mandate of Burhanuddin Rabbani, President of the Islamic State of Afghanistan, includes negotiations with ex-King Zahir Shah and meetings with influential Afghans from different political and ethnic groups inside the country. Earlier, President Rabbani, objecting against restoration of monarchy in Afghanistan, backed the proposal of the former monarch on forming Loya Jirgah for the purpose of creating a transitional government.
