Kfor Peacekeepers Use Tear Gas To Disperse Serbs' Rally

American KFOR soldiers used tear gas to disperse a rally in Vrbovac (Kosovo, Vitina community). According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, several hundred Kosovo Serbs arranged a protest rally in the Vrbovac village following the recent Albanian attacks that left two Serbs injured and protested against daily electricity disconnections. The American soldiers tried to disperse the rally using tear gas and beating the protesters. The clashes between American soldiers and Serbs lasted three hours. In a move of protest, Serbs broke off all contacts with KFOR. Around 800 Serbs are living in Vrbovac.
