Afghan Leaders Make Declaration In Future Political Patterns, Call U.n., Oic To Help

Afghan leaders held conference in Peshawar, Pakistan, to pass a declaration on future political arrangements in Afghanistan. The declaration calls to convene a Loya Jirgah, supreme tribal assembly, and establish a broad-based government to bring lasting peace back to the country. The documents appeals to the United Nations and the Organisation of the Islamic Conference for assistance, and to Afghan belligerents and the USA to stop warfare and so hold the further destruction of Afghanistan.
