Igor Ivanov, Colin Powell Discuss Preparations For President Putin's Visit To U.S.A.

Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov and US secretary of state Colin Powell have discussed on the phone the forthcoming visit to the USA by Russian president Vladimir Putin, reported the Russian foreign ministry's information and press department. During their Thursday telephone conversation, Ivanov and Powell looked into the situation around the consultations on inter-related problems of offensive and defensive weapons. Besides, the two foreign policy chiefs discussed the anti-terror cooperation between the two countries and a number of other issues.
