US Aviation Delivers Bomb Strikes On Five Afghan Cities

On Saturday morning, US aviation delivered bomb strikes on Kabul, Kandagar, Jalalabad and Gerat. For the first time since the commencement of the US military operation in Afghanistan on 7 October the city of Talukan, in the northern part of the country, was bombed. The night and day-time airraids on the Afghan capital were the most massive since the commencement of the anti-terrorist operation. For the first time a "carpet" bombardment method was applied: simultaneously 8 bombs were dropped on the Vazir Ahbar Khan residential district. In Gerat, strikes were delivered on the aerodrome, in Kandagar - on various military facilities. American aviation threw bombs on Taliban positions to the north of Kabul.
