Vladimir Putin Arrives In Moscow After His Visit To U.S.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Moscow on Friday after having completed his visit to the United States, Alexei Gromov, the press secretary of the Russian leader, told journalists. During his visit to the U.S., Vladimir Putin carried out negotiations with U.S. President George W. Bush and met with representatives of the American political and business elite. The Russian leader visited the site of the September 11 tragedy in New York. He took part in the service in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at New York's Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. During the unofficial part of his visit, Mr. Putin stayed overnight at George W. Bush's ranch in Texas. During the last day of his visit, Mr. Putin gave an interview to the U.S. National Public Radio and answered questions of NPR listeners.
