Russian Vice Premier Valentina Matviyenko To Participate In Meeting Of Joint Russian-Austrian Intergovernmental Commission

Russian Vice Premier Valentina Matviyenko is to participate in the sixth meeting of the joint Russian-Austrian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation on Wednesday. Matviyenko is the Russian co-chairman of the commission. Economics and Labour Minister Martin Bartenstein is the Austrian co-chairman. The participants in the meeting are to discuss the economic situation in Russia and Austria and bilateral trade and economic relations. They will also consider the possibility of opening a joint enterprise producing offset paper in Bashkiria and carrying out an energy conservation concept in the Bashteploenergo system. A protocol is to be signed following the results of the meeting.
