An international air defense exercise involving 110 servicemen from Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden kicked off on Thursday on Latvia's Baltic coast. The event is the first air defense exercise the Baltic state has hosted since it declared independence in early 1990s. It is being conducted on a firing range set up outside Liepaja with foreign assistance. The war game is to last until November 9.
