Russian, Tajik Presidents Discuss Course Of Anti-Terror Operation In Afghanistan

Russia's President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conference, Monday, with President Emomali Rakhmonov of Tajikistan. The two leaders "matched the watches" discussing the course of the US-led anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan on the eve of President Putin's visit to the USA, and exchanged opinions on post-conflict settlement in the country, according to the Kremlin press office. The presidents also touched on bilateral issues of current importance, said the presidential press office.
