Tajik, Uzbek Presidents Discuss Regional Security
On November 12, Tajik and Uzbek Presidents Emomali Rakhmonov and Islam Karimov discussed over the telephone joint actions to provide regional security and combat international terrorism and different types of extremism and drug trafficking. At issue was the situation in Afghanistan, prospects for the crisis settlement and humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.
