The new government of Afghanistan should be formed under UN control, Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee stated Wednesday. He met with journalists of Indian TV channels in his residence upon returning from his foreign tour of Russia, the USA and Great Britain. According to Vajpayee, currently there are many different proposals concerning principles of forming the post-Taliban government. All of them will be considered in detail, however, the principle of forming such government under UN control is one of more specific and real, he believes. The Indian premier also stressed that the international coalition had reached first, but not final, success in Afghanistan and the fight against terrorism would be continued. "In the future, wherever international terrorism raises its head, it will be destroyed. Terrorism and humankind cannot live together," Vajpayee said.
