Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Sudan Ambassador Discuss Anti-terrorist Fight

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksander Saltanov and Sudan's Ambassador to Russia Ibrahim al-Qabashi have held conference discussing a rebuff to international terror and other challenges of the modern day, the Russian foreign ministry's information and press department said Wednesday. The Russian minister voiced satisfaction with the fact the United Nations Security Council had lifted sanctions against Sudan. The conferees dwelled on problems related to bilateral contacts, prospects for the development of mutually advantageous Russo-Sudanese cooperation. The conferees noted their countries' eagerness to step up contacts at various levels.
