Macedonians Again Forced To Flee Homes After Albanian Extremst Provocation

Albanian terrorists attacked a police check-point in a village to the north-west of Tetovo during the night of November 15th. The law-enforcement officers were forced to open fire. Armed provocations were also seen in Tetovo itself and outlying settlements. Moreover, gunshots were also heard in a village near the town of Kumanovo. According to reports coming from Skopje, Albanians, mainly women and children, have started to leave their homes in villages to the north-west of Tetovo. Albanian extremists killed three policemen and left the same number wounded in an attack in the region several days ago. Many people believe that people are fleeing their homes because they are afraid of the attacks in nearby regions. However, a few analysts in the Macedonian capital think that the women and children are leaving because Albanian extremists are planning a new wave of attacks. Militant groups ranging from 100 to 200 men are thought to be in a series of settlements. Macedonian media sources, while referring to well-informed sources, warned a several days ago that extremists were planning new large-scale military operations.
