Radioactive leak in Japan

Radioactive leak detected at nuclear power plant may have started in July.

Radioactive water was found to be leaking from the Chubu electrical energy plant in Kamaoka, central Japan, 200 kilometres south-east of Tokyo. A spokesperson for the plant admitted that an increase in radioactive water levels registered in July may have been caused by the leak.

Leaks had been found in different places in the plant on 7th and 9th November. The spokesperson declared that there was no danger to the surrounding environment.
