George Robertson To Visit Moscow

George Robertson, the NATO Secretary General, will pay a working visit to Russia from November 21 till November 23, the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying on Monday. The NATO Secretary General is expected to visit Moscow and Volgograd (formerly the city of Stalingrad on the Volga river.) George Robertson will meet Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Vladimir Rushailo and officials from the Volgograd region. The Foreign Ministry also reported that the issues of adding a new dimension to Russia-NATO relations, as well as how to co-operate to combat terrorism and counter-act new challenges together will be at the top of the agenda.
