Georgian Capital: Protesters Block Main Street With Bad Electric Supply

"We don't want the regime changed--we want light!" cry exasperated pickets with power supply failures. Close on eighty activists are blocking Rust'hveli Avenue, Tbilisi's main thoroughfare, to let pass only ambulances and police cars. They settled at the Tbilisi Opera House, intending to move closer to the parliament building later in the afternoon. The pickets are making social not political demands, they point out.
