US Air Force has launched a series of missile strikes on Taliban positions near Kunduz and Khanabad in northern Afghanistan. Qatar-based Al-Jazeera TV company declares thousands of Talibs have been killed by the strikes. The Kunduz group of Talibs is thirty thousand strong. Around ten thousand of them are foreigners: Pakistani, Arabs, Uzbeks, Chechens, Uighurs, Bangladeshi and people from other Asian countries.
