Two Variants Of The Draft Constitutional Act Of Russia-Belarus Union State Worked Out

The Russian and Belarussian expert groups worked out two variants of the draft Constitutional Act of Russia-Belarus Union State, RIA Novosti was told on Wednesday at the office of the Russia-Belarus Union's Parliamentary Assembly. The documents are undergoing expert examination at the Union State's bodies and then will be submitted for consideration to the Union Council of Ministers and the Higher State Council. The draft Constitutional Act determines the foundations of the constitutional system, legal status of a citizen, and the powers and functions of the Union State's bodies. The document is supplemented by a list of amendments which will be introduced into the Russian and Belarussian constitutions if it is adopted, pointed out a spokesman for the office of the Union State's Parliamentary Assembly.
