Russia, Iran To Discuss Trade And Economic Cooperation In Tehran

Russian trade and economic delegation headed by Minister of Property Relations Farit Gazizullin is arriving in Iran on November 26. High on the agenda of the visit will be a working meeting of the co-chairmen /Farit Gazizullin--on Russia's part and Petroleum Minister Namdar Zanganeh on Iran's part/ of the standing Russo-Iranian commission on trade and economic relations. During the scheduled talks, the sides will discuss prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, and a range of issues related to the preparations for the fourth session of the joint commission, due in the first quarter of 2002 in Tehran. Russian business representatives, members of Russia's trade and economic delegation intend to meet heads of Iranian industrial sectors and look into ways of expanding trade and economic ties between Russia and Iran.
