This year approximately 3,000 Russian servicemen discharged from military service or soon to be transferred to the reserve will be trained within the framework of the Russian-British programme of retraining and job-placement of such persons. RIA Novosti learnt this on Wednesday from Jack Hamsley, British coordinator of the programme. To him, this year's first stream provides training for 905 Russians citizens in Moscow, St.Petersburg and other three major cities. 827 of them are trained in marketing, business administration, work on the real estate market, servicing of the computer systems and computer design. Since the start of this project, October 1995, 13,000 Russian servicemen have already been retrained.
