Chairmen Of Russian Supreme Courts To Meet German Counterparts In Baden-baden

Presidents of Russian supreme courts will meet their German counterparts in Baden-Baden (Germany). The meeting between the heads of superior judicial bodies of the two countries opens there on Monday. Chairman of the Russian Supreme Court Vyacheslav Lebedev, Chairman of the Russian Superior Arbitration Court Veniamin Yakovlev and Chairman of the Russian Constitutional Court will participate in the meeting. The meeting will focus on the problems of the improvement of the administrative legal system, the problems of jurisdiction of administrative-legal disputes and the reinforcement of judicial control over the compliance of laws and normative acts of the subjects of the Russian Federation to the legislation, the Russian Constitution and the international law, the Supreme Court and the Superior Arbitration Court said. The meetings between Russian and German heads of superior judicial bodies are held annually. "The Russian and German judicial systems have much in common and we are always exchanging experience," the Russian Superior Arbitration Court said.
