Pakistani Deputy Foreign Minister Heads For Moscow

Ways toward Afghanistan's postwar recovery are to figure prominently on the agenda of talks with Pakistani Deputy Foreign Minister Aziz Ahmad Khan, who will fly to Moscow on Monday as part of a four-day tour to Russia. Sources in the Pakistani Embassy in Moscow said Khan is Islamabad's point man on Afghanistan. The war-torn country's recovery is therefore expected to top the agenda of talks between the senior Pakistani diplomat and the Russian delegation. Other regional problems, including prospects of forging closer bilateral ties between Russia and Pakistan, may also be touched upon.
