Russian, Brazilian Banks Sign Protocol Of Intentions

A protocol of intentions was signed between the National Bank of Economic and Social Development of Brazil and the Russian Vneshekonombank within the framework of Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso's official visit to Russia. The protocol was signed for the purposes of further development of business relations between the two banks and in order to create conditions for the implementation of joint programmes and projects, the press service of Vneshekonombank told RIA Novosti. The document implies the possibility of banks' support of the two countries' investment projects and cooperation in the credit sphere. The implementation of the protocol should improve the bank service of Russian-Brazilian trade links.
