Economic Crisis In Argentina Will Not Affect Brazilian Economy

The economic crisis in Argentine will not seriously affect neighboring Brazil's economy, Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso said at a Moscow meeting on Tuesday with leaders of some Russian mass media and political science foundations. Cardoso has noted that financially, the Argentine economic crisis has not affected Brazil at all. As for the trade turnover between the two countries, in Cardoso's words, the Argentine economic crisis affected it in some way, in particular, the Brazilian exports to Argentine reduced. However, according to the Brazilian President, Brazil is increasing its exports to Mexico, Arab countries and Russia, thus substituting for its Argentine exports.
