Russian Ship's Crew Rescues Seamen From Cambodian Cargo Vessel Which Sank Near Turkish Coast

The crew of the Russian ship rescues seamen from the Cambodian cargo vessel Lady Amar which sank on Sunday in a stormy weather 40 miles away from the Turkish coast. RIA Novosti reports that Russian seamen have already rescued 14 crew members of the Cambodian vessel which transported 11,000 tons of steel. But four members of the crew are still missing. The authorities of Istanbul, who also reacted to the SOS, sent a helicopter and a rescue ship. But poor visibility did not allow them to discover the Cambodian dry cargo vessel.
