Western Military Aircraft To Come To Tajikistan

Aircraft of Italian, French, and US air forces are expected to come to Tajikistan to take part in the military operation in Afghanistan, said Tajik Deputy Prime Minister Saidamir Zukhurov, responsible for Tajikistan's power structures. The allies' aircraft will stay in Afghanistan only until the end of the anti-terrorist operation, he pointed out. No international agreements as regards the use of airports will be signed. All issues of the aircraft deployment will be solved at the level of foreign ministries. Currently, UN aircraft with 5-tonnes cargo capacity, lent by the countries of the anti-terrorist coalition, are landing at the airports of Dushanbe and Kulyab. They deliver international organisations'humanitarian cargos to the northern areas of Afghanistan, including the towns of Faizabad, Talukan, Kunduz, and Mazar-i-Sharif.
