Kirghizia Will Establish Quotas For People Willing To Obtain An Immigrant Status

Annually the government of Kirghizia will determine the quota limiting the flow of immigrants to Kirghizia and the Legislative Assembly of the two-chamber parliament of the republic will approve it. According to the information provided by the press-service of the Kirghizian government, on Tuesday Nikolai Tanayev, first vice-premier of Kirghizia signed the appropriate enactment. Provisions of the enactment cover foreign citizens and people without citizenship who wish to obtain the status of an immigrant and stipulate conditions required to obtain such a status as well as describe interview procedures used in the course of an application consideration. From now on administrative eviction of foreign citizens and people without citizenship whose residence permit in Kirghizia is annulled will be carried out by court decision and at their own expense. In extraordinary cases deportation costs will be covered by state budgetary funds.
