Afghanistan Demands To Put An End To American Air Strikes

Afghanistan demanded to put an end in the next few days to American air strikes as all Taliban and Osama bin Laden fortifications in the territory of the country were already destroyed. On Friday Indian mass media disseminated the corresponding statement of Mohammad Habil, a representative of the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan. According to him, the provisional government of Afghanistan demanded to stop US bombardments as "the assigned objective was achieved". He added that from now on the United States should not deliver air strikes against Afghanistan at its own discretion without the permission of local authorities and the Defense Ministry of the country. Habil also indicated that remaining scanty Taliban forces might be eliminated in the next three days and after that bombardments would become unnecessary.
