Earthquake In Afghanistan

The earthquake in Afghanistan on Thursday morning could be felt in a number of areas of Pakistan, India, and Tajikistan. According to the Tajik Emergencies Ministries' General Staff, the earthquake's epicentre was in Afghanistan, 220 km southeast of Dushanbe, the Tajik capital. The earthquake measured 5-6 on the Richter scale in the epicentre, and 4-5 in the area of Dushanbe. No casualties or destructions have been reported. The shock measured 5.8 on the Richter scale in Pakistan, both in its north - in Peshawar, Muzaffarabad (the Pakistani Kashmir capital) and in the extreme south. No casualties or destructions have been reported. The earthquake could be also felt in India (Jammu and Kashmir state) with no casualties and destructions reported.
