Motor Transport Tax Replaced In Uzbekistan By Tax On Gazoline, Diesel Fuel And Liquefied Gas

The motor transport tax which was charged from private individuals was replaced in Uzbekistan, beginning in January 2002, by the tax on gazoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas, reported the press service of the Uzbek finance ministry. The report says that the new tax was introduced for improving the tax policy and will be charged from the buyers of fuel by organisations selling gazoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
